I just have to brag since I'm so happy about it: Rooney is doing slalom fantastically again :) Maybe he finally grew his brain back :DD I taught him with the V slalom method, and he did great, even when the channel was closed he was doing really well, had great entries and when we started to compete his slalom simply fall apart, he did not find the slalom entry, he was jumping out of it or he just simply ran next to it. The situation on training was a bit better but far from perfect, far from how it was earlier. Then I started to work with Ripper on slalom, teaching him with the 2x2 method, so I was also doing it with Rooney, but we only got to 4 poles, being not fully in line. And then Rooney was injured, he had to have a 3 week long break from agility. Yesterday we went to train and he was doing slalom amazingly! I don't know what happened in his brain but he was doing slalom perfectly again: finding the entry from every angle, no matter where I was or no matter if I was moving with him or not, he was always doing it perfectly and I'm very-very happy about it, hopefully it stays this way from now on. :))
And we are working on heelwork lately, I love to watch a beautiful heelwork where the dog is looking up enthusiastically and has a nice "dressage horse" movement. Rooney is doing well in this too, he is doing it in a nice style with a great focus, with Ripper I'm working on his style, he is still a beginner in this, for Rooney I taught it with the mixture of two methods and Ripper is learning it in the same way, and he is improving nicely, I plan to post a video soon about it :)
