We have been training with three different trainers in March since the Kraft SE offered this opportunity and I was happy to live with it :-) .
I had training with both Ripper and Rooney with Erika of-course, but also trained with Tráj Tamás on the 16th of March and with Bíró Zsófi on the 22nd of March , to both Tomi and Zsófi I was going with two dogs, and I was really happy with ourselves both on Tomi's very tight and technical course and on Zsófi's wider, "trust your dog and ruuuunnnn" course. :) All of the training we had were really great, we had a tons of fun, and did learn many useful things and techniques again. Despite the bad weather it was a really great month for us.
The boys are developing, and hopefully also my handling does improve. Rooney is starting to have better contacts, his turns are really great lately, his start-line stay is also better, and hopefully his slalom will be slowly fine again. The problem we are still having is him running under the bars, it is better now, but still not perfect, he still does it sometimes. To be honest handling Rooney is a very challenging thing, because I need to focus completely and I need to be completely sure about what I want and what I need to do. If I'm doing my job and show him everything correctly and perfectly than he is doing amazing, but if I'm not, he can be terrible since he does not make usually any effort to correct my handling.
Ripper is 16 months old now, doing more and more difficult things, and he is jumping medium (40 cm) now. We are doing a bit of see-saw work with him, and I started 2x2 slalom with him, and we are also working on his running contacts.
So here is a training video about the boys:
(P.S.: The website have been updated, as you can see on the headings. I have also updated the describson about both Rooney and Ripper on their own pages. The line on the headings ("Our life is based on passion/And we live our lives the way we want") is from one of my favorite metal band, Hammerfall, from their album, No Sacrifice, No Victory and the song's title is Life is Now), and it fully does express my and my dogs way of living and our personalities ;-) )
