Happy Birthday little alien!! :)
Ripper started to compete in April in A1, first at 5th of April at the Charity cup and then in Kamenny Mlyn, Slovakia on the 13th of April.
Rooney competed a bit more: 26th of January Kraft wintercup 5th of April Charity cup, 12.-13. April Kamenny Mlyn, Slovakia, 11th of May Kraft cup, 17th of Smaragd cup.
Ripper's running contacts are perfect now also on the dogwalk, and his weaves are also finished, although he is not always completely self-confident in normal weaves (he learned the slalom at home on poles sticked into the ground).
I did not compete with Ripper that much since he would need training on other dogwalks and first I would like to have time for that, and only when on other places, apart from the Kraft training ground (where we have trained recently), the dogwalk is also perfect would I like to compete with him again.
With Rooney I was disappointed to confess the truth. Now that I knew he is turning 4 years old I desperately wanted to run clean runs with him and finally go to A2. Finally on the 5th of April we ran an agility run with 1 refusal and 2 bars, setting best time from all sizes (:D), but since then only disqualifications. No matter that how much of a nice run those were, despite of being a dis., I couldn't help but to feel a bit disappointed with him. So now I want to train more in June, at many different training places and prepare for the Moravia Open in July.
It is also a great change that in the beginning of May I started to feed B.A.R.F. to my boys instead of dry dogfood and for now I'm really happy with the result, they are really looking great, being in a nice shape and they love it! Even Rooney who is not that much of an eater. :-)
Here is a video of Ripper's RC on the dogwalk, I'm so proud on him, being completely in love with this geniuos dog <3 :
