I started to train more frequently with the boys recently. We trained with Vera Herendy at Csepel in a hall with carpet and with Erika Szoboszlay at Sóskút in a riding hall, and now we train with her in the Kraft SE's own agility hall at Tárnok. We enjoyed all of the trainings a lot, and we are improving.
With Ripper we are doing combinations (he is jumping 30 cm now) with different handling technics (ketchker, blind cross, front cross, etc.), he started to learn the see-saw, and we are doing running contacts at home, we will start the slalom with the Susan Garett method (2x2) later. And of-course he is always coming with us to the competitions, and he is starting to get more of a barky idiot when just watching agility :D
With Rooney we are learning more and more difficult handling, and we are correcting some mistakes that we made with our former trainers during his fundation training. We are doing fine and he is really the agility dog of my life, but recently we started to loose the connection and understanding between each other, especially on competitions, he is not focusing on me, it takes time for us to find the connection, and I'm quite confused because of this, so I'm working on this with him. He is very concentrated dog normally so it isn't like him to run in circles before our run and not to come to me when I call him...............it was quite upseting to confess the truth, we had the same problem on both weekends, on the 10th of February at Tordas winter cup and on the 17th of February on the Kraft cup, he was running in circles away from me around the agility course either after or before the run, the jumping run on the Kraft cup was a bit better: he was focused on me, but he was still crazy and I wasn't able to handle him so I finished the course at the 12th obstacle and brought him down from the course without finishing it....... I think I will have a month or so break with him away from the competitions and we will only train, I hope I will be able to fix this, because he never did this before, he was completely alright on the B.A.C.K. and also on the competitions before that...........
Anyway, here is the video from the B.A.C.K., I was finally able to upload it on YouTube:
