Bavarian Agility Challenge Kreuth alias B.A.C.K., it was a competition held in Germany, Rieden in the biggest horse hall in Europe, in this hall was the Agility FCI World-championship organized in 2010. The whole competition was perfect except our runs with Rooney: the competition area was surrounded with a beautiful nature where you could walk your dog, the organizers did a great job, you just had to compete and concentrate on yourself and your dog.
We traveled to Germany on the 3rd of January and we went in the evening to the hall for the registration. On the 4th of January, Friday I had an agility run in the morning with Rooney: dis., but he was quite clear headed so altogether it wasn't bad, and in the afternoon we had a jumping run - also dis. an this was more of a disaster, a very chaotic run. On Sunday we also had an agility run - dis. and it was a difficult course and the dog-walk was in a very bad angle, many dogs fall down when running up on it. And then we had the jumping run: the first run with Rooney on a competition which wasn't dis. - one refusal but it was still a great run! Sadly only about this run isn't a video and because of the refusal we did not qualify to the finals in the end. On Saturday we had again an agility and a jumping run: the agility was a bit chaotic again with Rooney being too crazed up again, and the jumping was also on refusal again, not a too good run, as I was many times too late so he had many to big turns. Altogether it was a great experience and I was very happy that we were able to go, and I also have the clue now that what is it that I should correct with Rooney. It is clear that if we will train more Rooney will be able to run better on competitions too, since he is starting to get the idea and also I am less nervous.
There will be a video as soon as I upload it on the YouTube. :)
